how to design primers for this pseudogene (AC112229.1) that not amplified his parental gene or another isoform ?
Hi every one, I'm trying to design primers for this pseudogene (AC112229.1). But these pseudogene are not available in NCBI nucleotide it's take a part of BAC, and his parental gene is (ZNF532). When I took the sequence of pesudogene and design primers. most primers cover or amplified the parental gene and others isoforms and not pseudogene. I need to design primers for Real-time qPCR( RT-qPCR) and my target is quantify pseudogene expression. How to design primers in this case. Hope to hear advice from you. Thanks a lot.
