Gene expression of a gene regulator?
Can gene expression of a gene regulator be measured using RT-qPCR? A gene cluster containing a regulator and other genes was identified and the sequences used to design primers, should I have a primer for the regulator too?

Please elaborate on what you mean by 'gene regulator' - a non-coding RNA? How was your initial study conducted?
