What was the exact command you used to convert to fastq?
Even more basic question, are they still compressed/can KEDlnet handle compressed fastq?

If that's the exact command, I can see the problem already- it's
fastq, notfasq.If it's not, please add the exact command by editing your question. This is so people that know more about this have relevant information and can rule out non-specific errors.

That was not exact command because I typed fastq in cdm, anyway I think the error was because of memory deficiency because after removing some files I could open fastq files properly.
