Agentic AI is rapidly changing how research is done, enabling tools that go beyond chat-based assistants to support coding, data analysis, and multi-step scientific workflows. This hands-on course provides practical training on how to use these systems effectively in real life sciences research.

Participants will learn how to:

• Use modern AI tools for data analysis and coding tasks

• Improve results through effective prompt and context design

• Build interactive data applications and reproducible workflows

• Connect tools to external knowledge sources

• Apply best practices for responsible use in research

The course is aimed at life sciences researchers (ecologists, biologists, bioinformaticians, data scientists) with basic programming experience in R or Python. No prior experience with AI tools is required.
