Reference source that provides IRIs for Ensembl gene IDs?
Hello everyone, I work on ontology building and I am looking for a reference database providing IRI (internationalised resource identifier) for each Ensembl gene IDs. Is there any database like this, or is it possible to retrieve IRIs from Ensembl? Thanks in advance!

ID's are difficult to manage/map as is and using IRI's would cause additional headaches. It was instructive to look up information about IRIs. While they seem to offer some advantages the potential for spoofing/phishing probably negates the benefit.
Ensembl ID's are managed by Ensembl : http://www.ensembl.org/info/genome/stable_ids/index.html
