Trimming reads before running Juicer

Hello folks! I have a very basic HiC related question. I am running Juicer on a dataset to get the .hic files, after running FastQC on my data I have realized it has ~10% of comulative adapter contamination at the end (150bp), is it necessary to trim it? Can Juicer run well with the un-trimmed data?

Thanks for the insight!

hic juicer qc

I would trim the adapters always to be safe than be sorry later on.
