Need help with IGV interpretation

Hello all, I wanted to confirm if this is a true deletion? based on what i can observe, there is a drop in coverage, and it is also supported by the red line within the reads. However, i am concerned if 1 read is enough to support the alteration. The alteration is reported by ASCAT. enter image description here

no it looks like a usual fluctuation of coverage that you can see anywhere. Nevertheless, i would look on the right of the screen where there is a sudden/ vertical drop of coverage...

Hi @Pierre, thank you so much for the help. The vertical drop is present in both Tumour and Normal, so I guess it's not significant? I am particularly looking at somatic alterations [Top Panel].

I just wanted to confirm one more thing. I was looking for duplication and based on the stuff i could find online. Would this be called a duplication?
