How to apply bioinformatic in vaccine design?
Hey, people!! It's me again and now, with a new question.
First, let me contextualize it.
I'm a biotechnology student and I already have some bioinformatic knowledge (basics). My strong skills is in python and something in bash and ML.
Having said that:
I have to do a college work where I must to design a vaccine and use bioinformatics on it. My organism is Cryptococcus neoformans and it causes a cellular immune response (if I'm not mistaken).
How can I do that or which programs do I use? and which approachs it's use in that subject (vaccines and bioinformatics)?

It means: How can I use bioinformatic on vaccine development?
Did you try actually googling 'bioinformatics and vaccine development'? I just did and there was absolutely loads of useful information. I say this sincerely, but learning how to google effectively is one of the most useful skills you will have in bioinformatics,
I know that universities and research institutions tend to try and extract labor from unsuspecting undergraduate students, but this is extreme.
Are you sure you have to design a vaccine? What does "use bioinformatics on it" even mean?

How can I use bioinformatic tools on vaccine development?
Well, you're working with Cryptococcus neoformans. That's a fungus. As far as I know, there are no know vaccines against fungal infections (refer to this review: https://doi.org/10.1038/s41541-021-00294-8 ).
It appears to me that you do not have anyone supervising you on this project. Is this correct? Do you have sufficient compute resources available? The least you'd doing is running a sequence search, and you might have to do that locally. An attempt to formulate a bioinformatics-based contribution to fungal vaccine development by (what appears to me to be) an uninformed party without guidance and material support from subject experts is essentially a waste of time.

You might find some leads and other literature that will help you come up with a project idea. That said, you should not be the one having to come up with the idea by yourself; that's the supervisor's job.
All this said, I appreciate and value your persistence and enthusiasm. My intention was not to demotivate you or mock you. I just feel that this isn't the way a "college work" (what does that even mean) should be executed.
