Is this the sort of thing you're talking about? Robust enumeration of cell subsets from tissue expression profiles. If you're looking to characterize cell-type composition of samples based on gene expression signatures does it matter if the original signature is based on microarrays? A gene expression profile is a gene expression profile. On the other hand, it looks like Ash and Max have updated CYBERSORT to CYBERSORTx, both methods based on tissue transcriptomes - if that's what you're trying to do.
