Gene name according to assembly
Hello,
Do gene names change according to assembly? For example, would a gene called Gene A in hg18 be still called Gene A in hg38 or is there a possibility that it's been renamed as eg. Gene B in hg38? If it can change, is there a table or similar resource that shows the change?
