I came across a spam post on BioStar, and couldn't see how to flag it.

How do I flag posts as spam?

Thank you very much for asking and for wishing to help improving Biostar. As Michael said, so far we have always been able to remove spam posts within minutes, so there it has been no need to develop a procedure for users to report spams. In any case, if you see that none of the moderators noticed a spam post and that it is still threre after a while, please send a message to one of us, by going to our profile and clicking on the "Send Message" button.

This needs to be handled by moderators (marked with ♦) who can close or add a spam tag or admins (♦♦) who will ban the spammer. And in most cases spam is removed within minutes even though I think we should have an admin in the australian time zone in addition, esp. in Melbourne ;)
