"SNP" record in vcf looks like this: 6:28035427:GTA:ATA ?
I noticed a lot of the records in the MHC region of 30x 1000 genomes look like this: "6:28035427:GTA:ATA" where one base change is reported but more than one nucleotide is shown in REF/ALT.
Why is this?
