(Cytoscape) What app is for mRNA-chemical interaction?
I have used STITCH app for analyzing the mRNA-chemical compound interaction. But, STITCH app is for protein, not mRNA. In this case, Am i use STITCH app okay?

Hi,
Probably not, but maybe. It really depends on the scores. STITCH is giving you functional associations (not strictly physical interactions), as such, many of those edges might be valid. For example, an article describing an interaction between a compound and the mRNA for a protein would probably be picked up by the text mining algorithms. On the other hand, if the evidence is based on physical interaction, then you are probably getting binding events between the compound and the protein.
