Forum: Bioinformaticist or bioinformatician?
A colleague recently took issue with being called a bioinformatician and insisted on bioinformaticist. My professional training is in genetics and molecular biology, so I use the terms interchangeably. Is there a difference and, if so, what is the distinction?

P.S.: by the way, I prefer / use bioinformatician.
