WGCNA requires always a trait data?

Hi, I did an RNA-seq analysis and Im planning to analyze with WGCNA, I have seen several papers with trait data, but I have a large RNA-seq sampling but few trait data. I was wondering if it is valid just do WGCNA with the expression data.

Thanks

This is amusing, since WGCNA isn't a bioconductor package, so it'll get 0 support on that site :P

Although, if I'm not mistaken, the author is active there.

To what end? The point of WGCNA is to use a network approach to find large groups associated with phenotypic changes.
