Nature Methods - In Decision column it is written as AIP.. What does it mean?

Hi,

I know that I should not ask this question in this forum. But I don't know whom to ask. In this forum, there will be very experienced and knowledgeable persons. So, I thought this is the current place to ask.

What does it mean if in Nature Method Journal - In decision column - if it is written as AIP.

Why don't you ask the editor of the journal?

No response from Journal editor. Hence, curious to know..

Its an acronym for accept in principle

That means - There are going to accept the paper.

There is still fine tuning left, I have no personal experience anyway. But this might help
