News: Spatial Omics Data Analysis: From Raw Data to AI Insights

Dear all,

We are pleased to announce the Physalia online course: Spatial Omics Data Analysis: From Raw Data to AI Insights

Dates: 14–16 September

Course website: https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/scverse/

Spatial omics technologies are transforming how we study tissue organization, cell interactions, and gene regulation in space. This course provides a complete, practical workflow—from raw data to advanced analysis and AI-driven insights.

Participants will learn how to work with modern SpatialData-centric workflows and integrate multiple data modalities, including transcripts, cells, and images.

You will learn how to:

  • Perform preprocessing and quality control of spatial omics data
    • Analyze spatial structure, cell–cell interactions, and gene-level patterns
    • Apply spatial statistics and neighborhood-based analyses
    • Understand and critically evaluate AI-based approaches in spatial biology

The course combines lectures, hands-on tutorials, and guided discussions, with a strong focus on reproducibility and real-world applications.
