Dear all,
We are pleased to announce our upcoming online course, Spatial Omics in R/Bioconductor, taking place from 18–20 May.
Course website: https://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/spatial-omics-1
In this course, participants will:
- Gain a solid understanding of spatial omics concepts, including the differences between imaging- and sequencing-based approaches
- Explore a range of spatial omics technologies and learn how to design effective experiments
- Address key challenges in spatial data analysis using R/Bioconductor
- Apply “tidy” data principles to streamline analysis workflows
- Interpret spatial omics datasets and extract meaningful biological insights
Course schedule (09:30–13:30 Berlin time, online):
Day 1: Introduction and spatial analysis of sequencing data (SpatialExperiment, Seurat)
Day 2: Tidyomics and spatial analysis of imaging data (tidySpatialExperiment, MoleculeExperiment, Seurat)
Day 3: Advanced spatial analyses (spatial differential expression, cell-neighbour analysis, pixel-based deconvolution, multi-modality integration)
