Many thanks to both of you !
Hello !
I assemble mitochondrial genomes of marine eucaryotes and I am searching for a tool that can be used for any of the marine eucaryotes. I tried a few of them and the best one for me is Mitos2. However, it doesn't work well on algae : it doesn't detect the co1 gene which is the most important for me (barcoding).
Do you know any tool that can work on any marine eucaryote ? Or a tool I can alternate with Mitos2 depending the species of my sample ?
Thanks !

The last version of it is here => https://juke34.github.io/awesome-genome-annotation/
Hi ! I had great results on marine eucaryotes mitochondrial annotation with hmmannot (from oatk), I just remembered you might be interested to know. Thanks again !

Juke34 has a list of tools here that you can take a look through: https://github.com/NBISweden/GAAS/blob/master/annotation/knowledge/annotation_tools_mitome.md
