Mitochondrial Variant Calling Tools
Hi,
I am working on a mitochondrial variant calling project from bovine (cattle) samples. I need to perform variant calling and heteroplasmy analysis. I need suggestions for a suitable variant caller for these analyses. Can I use GATK Mutect2 in mitochondria mode in this case?
Please let me know any other suggestions
