What does the start in diffbind profile plot x-axis mean exactly?
Hello, I'm new to CHiP-Seq and am using DiffBind. I was wondering what the profileplot generated shows exactly. I have attached a picture from the vignette. Is my understanding correct that the start on the x axis is the center of the peak and it's just showing the read density 1500 bp before and after that center? Also, just to be clear is this plot showing the transcription start site in the middle or is it the center of the peak?
