Note though that this cell line is around for decades with tens of thousands of clones in use in different labs. Any single experiment is only borderline representative for "HEK" as a whole, so your clone can be different in terms of sequence. As I suggested in previous posts, using such as cell line for your research on neuronal disease appears questionable to me, but that's your cup of tee to sort out.
