Reference panel when doing ADMIXTURE
Hi, all -
Doing an admixture analysis right now, and was a bit confused by what to set as the reference panel. I'm planning on using the POPRES and 1000G datasets and doing a projection ADMIXTURE to a subset of the POPRES dataset.
Does it make more sense to set the reference panel to a merge of POPRES and 1000G for better quality results? Or to simply use 1000G?
