I recently tried to use a tool called appreci8, where it integrates 8 different variant calling softwares into a single tools that can be run using .BAM files as inputs. I was unable to get it to run for a number of reasons, and so I am trying to find more options for similar tools.

I've found tools that can create consensus .vcf files once the variant calling has already been completed, but Im looking for a tool that actively integrates multiple variant callers. Ive also found seqmule which I will be trying shortly, and COVACS but none of the repositories for data or scripts or downloads are working right now.

What other programs are out there for this sort of integrated function?

Have you had success running appreci8?
