LFTP fails to submit files to the EGA sequence database
Hello,
I am using lftp to transfer files to the EGA: lftp webin2.ebi.ac.uk. I can log in successfully but then after using mput *fastq.gz, after a few minutes the connection disconnects. Is there an lftp setting to keep the connection open until all the files are submitted?

lftp should continue until all files are submitted or a fatal error occurs. Check that you got the right address. FTP servers often have an address that starts with ftp, e.g. ftp.ebi.ac.uk.
