Sanger Sequence Analysis

Hello,

I have some Sanger sequences of HBB gene. I need to find variants related to Sickle Cell Anemia or Beta Thalassemia from these sequences.

Is there any tool for calling variants from these sequences? Please help.

I have .ab1 files.

You can call variants from *.ab1 files with tracy or the web application indigo, a front end of tracy as described in this paper
