How to stop cnvkit invoking X11 windows

I'm using Xshell to connect to a server and trying to run CNVkit. When starting cnvkit, Xshell pop up a window asking me to install Xmanager to enable X11 forwarding. I have to close this window to let CNVkit run. Are there any way to stop CNVkit invoke X11 windows? thanks
