R package for structural variation representation ?

Hi all,

I would like to draw some figures that represent structural variations between 2 species. Ideally it would take as input mummer's result.

I know we can use mummerplot but I would like to distinguish the different structural variations with colors.

Basically I am looking to draw this kind of figures (a and c)

Here are some relevant packages for you - you should be able to make both figures from A and C using these (maybe even solely using the first one):
