I am currently working on data from the TCGA Pan-Cancer project downloaded from the Synapse platform. https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn300013

Does anybody know what criteria have been used for the inclusion of samples in whitelists? (for example: https://www.synapse.org/#!Synapse:syn416851/version/8 )

The Release Notes don't say anything about it and I don't know where to retrieve such information.
