Does A Protein Interaction Network Created Directly From Literature Correspond To A Top Down Or A Bottom Up Approach?

The protein interaction network created directly from literature (not using any template network or omics data) will be under Top down or Bottom up approach?

network model

Depends on the data you're mining from the literature

I am mining the proteins involve in cell cycling.

If you're mining information like "A interacts with B" then this would be a bottom-up approach.
