There is also the Bio::Tools::Run::TribeMCL BioPerl module for running TribeMCL. The problem is that both of these methods rely on a set of tribe* programs that have not been a part of MCL for many years (see my answer). The author of MCL has discouraged this usage on the mcl-listserv, so I recommend following the author's suggestions.
I found the original link to TribeMCL does not work and there was no other links available. Can anyone help me figure it out or send me one copy of the software? Thanks so much!

After googling I found this perl wrapper script. Is this what you are looking for?
The programs for the TribeMCL pipeline were dropped from the MCL code more than 10 years ago. That is why they are difficult to find. The TribeMCL methods have not been supported for a long time, but you can see the clmprotocols page for the recommended ways of using MCL.
Thanks so much!
