md5 checksums for GEO data downloads
Hi all,
While downloading data from GEO, is there a way to verify the download fidelity with an md5 checksum? (In my case, I'm downloading raw Illumina 450k methylation array data (i.e. IDAT files)).
Thank you!

Maybe you can abstract How can I find SRA MD5 checksums for FASTQ files?
But tbh, if download finished properly and you could load the data into R, all having the same dimensions, then it should be fine.
Got it! Thank you! By abstract, you mean post a comment under that question?
No, abstract in terms of "modify for your usecase" since the OP asked about fastq but maybe there is a way to run this on arrays as well, guess it depends on whether the arrays are part of SRA itself, I do not know.
No, it doesn't look like they're part of SRA. The DNA methylation array files are small in size, they're usually just deposited on GEO.
