Cnv Data Set
Hi everyone,
Does anyone know where I can download a simulated data set (.bam) to use for comparing various CNV tools?
Thank you,

You might want to try the data from the 1000 genomes project
Click on one of the sample names, then alignment and pick a .bam file
Not very high coverage though...

I know where. Many such datasets exist in SRA, dbGAP and the TCGA Data portal. The problem is that many of the best datasets for CNV analysis (e.g., human tumors) will be limited access and I find all three of these resources very painful to search. I'm hoping someone else with some success in this matter will answer your question.
Hi Arun
I'm trying SCNVSim. If you found another tool, please let me know.
Thanks
