Mouse To Human Coordinates

Is there any way to convert mouse coordinates(mm9) into human coordinates(hg19). I know it is not possible to do it for all the coordinates as there is no one-to-one thing between them but if the homolog genes or particular exon in the homolog genes is pretty identical in length between both the genomes then how can we get human coordinates for the mouse coordinates.

HI, I have to convert a "big" file with CLIPseq data from hg38 to mm10 and liftOver is not able to give me the result. Not because there is a problem in the file, just because it's "too big"... But it's only 14Mo. How can I solve this issue? Thanks

Did you try a local installation of liftOver? (first hit on google: http://genometoolbox.blogspot.be/2013/11/install-liftover-locally-on-unix.html)

We can definitely use a feature which will allow moderators to move such questions to a new post. Looks like you can't do that either as "site admin".

If you have the coordinates of the exons, the UCSC liftOver can convert them from mm9 to hg19: http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgLiftOver
