How good is the Human Protein Reference Database?

I want to know if this database is updated and can be used as a resource for research work.

If you are referring to specific databases it is always good to include a link since there can be more than one database with similar names. If you are referring https://www.hprd.org/ then it has not been updated in years or so it would seem from that page.

UniProt's Human Proteome is likely the most comprehensive resource that is free to access and will be current.
