An updated list of bioinformatics related job resources on the web.

• Career Center at http://www.bioinformatics.org is an active and reliable resource that seems to be favored by employers on the US East Coast (Massachusetts, Maryland, DC)
• Bioinformatics.ca provides a pretty good selection of current job postings for bioinformatics positions at multiple levels. At the time of this post there were positions for software developers, web developers, database developers, grad students, postdocs, research directors and bioinformaticians. Most, but not all, are for positions in Canada.

The Careers page at GenomeWeb has a very good list of genomics related jobs, many of which are in the field of bioinformatics. Positions are primarily in USA and UK and cover a very wide range of positions including postdoc, computational biologist, biostatistician, database developer, bioinformatician, developer, scientific programmer, and more.
