Right now I am going through the literature trying to compile all the articles ( and data if its available) I can find related to gene expression of a particular cancer . I am looking to see if I can find similar trends in my own expression data.

Is there an easier way to go about doing this ? Perhaps a database where someone has assembled all the expression data publicly available for a particular gene...? Does anyone know if a resource like this exists ?

Thank you for your time

Take a look at NCBI GEO.

Not just GEO, but also take a look at ArrayExpress. A nice feature about GEO is that they have gene expression summaries (that you can browse) and you can query all experiments with various keywords (e.g. your cancer type), and the data can be programatically downloaded if your so inclined. The same is generally true for ArrayExpress. You might be also interested in the gene atlas feature there.

My personal ranking includes GEO and Arrayexpress tied first, and then the Stanford microarray repository (http://smd.stanford.edu/)

Amazonia ? http://amazonia.transcriptome.eu/expression.php?geneId=Hs.433750

Amazonia! is a free web atlas that allows an easy query of public human transcriptome data by keyword in thematic pages and with list annotations.
