exon-intron reads in neuron samples
I'd like to search for exon-intron boundaries reads in certain human neural genes. I do not have access to raw data (fastq, bam) from human brain. Is there any way to get these reads from neuronal samples?

GTEx provides exon-exon junction counts if that helps.

What does that mean, please elaborate.
Sure, I'm explaining. I'm interested in finding reads that start in an exon and finish in the following intron. I'm also interested in reads that start in an intron and finish in the next exon. If the RNA-seq is coming from poly-A RNA, these would be reads of intron retention events. So yes, I'd like to search for reads that can detect intron retention events. Many thanks
