Hi-C .mat format
I would like to analyze some Hi-C data that I ran across that is stored on NCBI (GEO GSE114139). The files have been uploaded with file extension .mat.gz. I am new to analyzing Hi-C data, and am not sure where to begin. I did some basic searching on analyzing Hi-C data starting with .mat files, but didn't find anything. Does anyone have any resources to get me started here? I think that .mat indicates a Matlab matrix file, but was unable to open it in Matlab.
