Staden Package is not working on my macOS Mojave

Hello,

I'm trying to use PreGap4 and Gap4 of the Staden Package on MacOS Mojave (recently updated from MacOS High Sierra). Every time I try to open it it says that the program is damaged. I have erased everything and downloaded the package again, but the error is still there.

Any ideas on a possible solution?

I think you should contact the developers, the software might not be packaged correctly for the latest version of MacOS. In the meantime you can run the applications from the bin folder that is on the diskimage if you trust it. Ctrl-right-click the binary in the bin folder and select Open. The app should run showing the TCL/Tk UI like normal if you have XQuartz installed. Another contributing factor could be the lack of a valid developer certificate which makes MacOS distrust the software.
