I want to use the FALCON assembler. I did sequencing using Oxford naopore MinION. I need to convert the sequence header from nanopore to PacBio to assemble using FALCON. I appreciate any information. Thank you.

Did you have any luck adjusting minion reads for use with falcon? and/or falcon unzip?

This request sounds unusual at best. FALCON diploid assembler is designed for PacBio data. You are not going to have subreads files etc. Would be interesting if anyone has tried something like this.

The assembler CANU would appear to be a better option.

DASCRUBBER-wrapper has a method called rename_reads_with_fake_pacbio_names. I think you convert the subreads to fasta file.
