Where to find archived NCBI taxonomy file
Hi all,
I am curious whether or not there is archived NCBI taxonomy lineage file(names.dmp and nodes.dmp). I know I can download the newest version from NCBI taxonomy. But I am interested in some old version. Because they updated that database quickly.

There was NCBI-reform in 2014.
Here I saved an old version.
where can I get environmental bacteria genome in fasta format (as many as possible)?

Thanks for help. Sorry for not clearly ask my question. I am actually the historical lineage information(should be names.dmp and node.dmp files), like when some phylum, class, order, family, genus and species added into the database.
You should email NCBI Help desk and ask them about this. I don't think this information is likely to be available on NCBI web site.
