Predict genes from megahit assembly sequence for virome tools

Hi, there. Recently, I did some work in virome analysis. I used the GeneMark to predict genes in Metagenome analysis before. However, I wonder if this tool was also adapt in virome analysis since its function is predicting bacterial genes rather than virus genes. Is there anybody could give me some suggestions if this tool was not suitable for virome analysis. Thanks a lot.
