Hi! I'm trying to download some data from the HMPDACC, but when I used hmp_client tool, most of my files were in a format not compatible with it (fasp). I've read that this format uses the Aspera Connect plugin, but I've been unable to download a single file. More interesting, is there a way to download those files in bulk from the manifest? My cart have more than a thousand files, so...
Thanks for the help.

Ok, I figured it out: In order to download a batch of files from the fasp server, you need to download the manifest file and use the manifest2ascp.py tool from the hmp_client (https://github.com/ihmpdcc/hmp_client). It will create a .sh file, that you should run in order to download all your files.
Try using the Aspera client https://www.hmpdacc.org/hmp/resources/download.php

You may need credentials to download some of the data. If you are behind a firewall then using Aspera may need some adjustments from your IT-admins. Look into both.
I have the Aspera Connect plugin installed, but I can't access the ascp command line tool to download the +1000 files. Any advise?
