Extraction of 16S hypervariable regions

Hi all,

I was wondering if there's any software to completely identify/separate/distinguish the whole 16S rRNA sequence? Specifically the hypervariable regions from V1-V9?

I've tried using this one http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0167701210002745

but I was wondering if there's any other software out there?
