"Auxilary data" in CSI index
Sorry for question but does anybody know that does "Auxilary data" field mean in CSI specification? And consequently what does "Length of auxilary data" field mean?

these are metadata (a free text area), and , as far as I can see in the code
https://github.com/samtools/htslib/blob/master/hts.c#L1808
it's not used elsewhere
