Is Newbler still available for download

Hello,

I am trying to download the Newbler assebmbler v2.9. It is a prerequisite for a software package I am trying to install (NaS workflow). I can't seem to find any version available at all. When I follow the links found in forums the page is not available.

Does anyone know what happened to this software? Is it not available anymore?

I can't seem to find any information on what happened to it online.

Hello, I am wondering if you got access to the software or not. I am looking to use Newbler for my research and I contacted Roche too but they said they cannot give me the software. If anyone can please share the software and access I would be really grateful. Thank you

A copy of Newbler had to be requested from Roche/454 by submitting a form. However, that form is no longer available. The original URL was http://454.com/contact-us/software-request.asp, it is now dead (as is 454.com). I find this irresponsible behavior from the company.

You could try to contact Roche asking for a copy. I'd be interested in their response.

UPDATE:

I contacted http://sequencing.roche.com and asked them about the software, and they responded to me. They said that the 454 business is down and so public download links for the related software aren't available anymore, but 454 software can still be downloaded from their ftp servers.

They also gave me a login so that I could download the software.

So there you go, if somebody else is looking to download Newbler they can send an inquiry.

Hi alexagarinf, this may no longer be relevant to you but I contacted https://www.roche.com/contact.htm Roche customer support last week to request their Newbler software &.they responded within 24 hours. I was given a login to download the latest version of the software (v3.0) & the System SysAdmin Guide via ftp.dia.roche.com
