What is the difference between qcovs, qcovhsp, qcovus in blast
I kind of found an answer to this question here "BLAST definition and difference between 'qcovs' and 'qcovhsp'" but it's not very clear to me and they don't explain qcovus. Which one would be the one I probably want if I want to find out how much of my query sequence is within an organisms genome. What is meant by overlap information is taken into account?
