Adapter and Homopolymer Trimming
Can anybody provide me with a perl script that can trim both adapter as well as homopolymer sequences. Would be of great help. I need the script preferably in perl and not the tools that can do this. Regards.

Prinseq is written in perl, maybe looking at that code can give you some inspiration.
