Search for gene homologues
Like this post in the Bioconductor forum, I am trying to figure out how to find gene homologues between mouse and human data. However, I am not clear about how to use the biomaRt package, because the mutations in the mouse data is present in vcf files and I want to search for homologues in a TCGA dataset.
Has anyone done this so far and any idea about how to perform this search for homologues genes?

If you only need a list of genes that are homologus between human and mouse then you can find it here.
